Micha Brown
Fresh out of sunny California Micha Brown brings a funky vintage aesthetic and a serious passion for hair artistry to the East Coast and The Nadia Vassell Salon. She’s spent 13 years in the beauty industry honing her craft and creating brilliant coifs for women from diverse backgrounds

The talented stylist recently finished a 3½-year stint at Neihule Salon, an urban chic beauty oasis located in Downtown Los Angeles. There, both business professionals and celebrities such as Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), Monique Coleman (High School Musical), and famed interior designer Nikki Chu were treated to Brown’s hairstyling magic.

In addition to her tenure at Neihule Salon, Brown has also served as a personal hairstylist to The Cosby Show#666 and That’s So Raven alum Raven-Symone and Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman.

Micha’s handiwork has appeared on several popular television shows including The Wendy Williams Show, Good Morning America, and The Mo’Nique Show; on album covers such as Brandy’s Human and Jennifer Hudson’s self-titled debut record; in countless magazine spreads; and red carpet events.

Though she relishes seeing her work in the spotlight, the Cali Girl also treasures making every day working women feel great about their image. In Micha’s words, “Everyone deserves to be treated like a celebrity!”
